The Intermediate Youth Class is where those youngsters who successfully complete the Introductory classes go. The class consists of additional educational activities such as drills, exercises, and supervised bouting with comments. The class is on-going -- i.e., there is no starting or ending date; it meets on Tuesdays at 6:30.

 

Students are expected to begin assembling their own equipment. Some will use this class as an activity period to enjoy their association with fencing; some will use it as a stepping stone to the competition class. Students are encouraged to stay after class to free-fence.
