Classes provide additional instruction, but the fine-tuning of fencing reflexes required for successful competition almost certainly requires private (one-on-one) instruction. And while the clubʼs classes are currently only for foil and sabre fencers, private lessons are available in all three weapons. Lessons typically last 20-25 minutes and are individually
scheduled with Dr. Volkmann, Paul Herin, or Collin McCoy.

Most students on either the Silver or Gold Plans (see “Club Policies” link) typically take one weekly lesson. Lessons are included in these plans. Additional lessons are available for $35 for non-members or $25 for members.
