The Competition Foil Class is for those students who have committed themselves to actively pursue competitive fencing - students are expected to attend tournaments both at the club and in the region representing the Augusta Fencers Club with their efforts. Members are expected to own and maintain all their own equipment as well as hold “competition member” level membership in the USFA.

 

The class consists of additional educational activities such as drills, exercises, and supervised bouting with comments. The class is on-going -- i.e., there is no starting or ending date; it meets on Thursdays at 6:30. Students are encouraged to stay after class to free-fence.
